Her Win Became A Dream

This is an exceprt from a long article about 19-year old Swedish Kristina Eriksson, who won this magazine's competion, and got to go to Hollywood and meet the stars, native indians, pop-idols etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Kristina had read in Hennes how busy Ann-Margret is. That she was contracted to do more films than most other movie stars, and that it's almost impossible to meet her in private.

But, however, being from Sweden and the county of Jamtland, Ann-Margret called Kristina one day and asked her to join her for afternoon coffee by the pool in her flashy Beverly Hills home.

Kristina was very nervous, but when A-M said "Hi" in Swedish, the ice was broken.

"How simple and charming she was", Kristina said after the visit. "It was the first time I have met a movie star in private, and we talked quite a lot, that's probably because she knows Swedish. I was a bit unsure of myself, but she did most of the talking. I still haven't seen her on the screen, but you bet I'll watch everything coming!"
