Roger Smith

A Star Comes Home

Ann-Margret "The Animal" Olsson, 31, has been back home to visit her native Valsjöbyn, in the county of Jämtland in the north of Sweden. The reason was a special occasion: She wanted to show the village to her husband, Roger Smith, and for him to meet her relatives.

"I have known Roger for 10 years, and I have told him so much about my village, about where I used to ride my bike as a child, and the lakes where I used to swim. Finally I had the time to show him all this!"

"It's everything I had pictured it to be, but I didn't think it would be so small", Roger says.

They stayed for 3 days in Valsjöbyn, and the first day, the local teacher gave the school-children time off so they could meet and greet the superstar.

Ann-Margret and Roger had endless amounts of coffee and cake during the visit, and did some tours with her Uncle Kalle Aronson's motorcycle. Ann-Margret loves motorcycles, and she told us she has 9 of them back home in her Beverly Hills garage.
